  As Director of Agency Relations, I cultivated and maintained new and existing relationships with over 500 partner agencies to optimize a new city-wide food recovery allocation systems.Our team designed and implemented a demand model of distribution that reduced waste and increased the number of clients effectively served. As a member of the executive leadership team, I was involved in strategic planning related to organizational growth, staff development, and corporate culture. As Director of Food Development built a pro-active food procurement department that achieved a 20% annual growth rate for five consecutive years. Increased breadth and variety of donor type by leveraging untapped resources including area farms, local green markets, manufacturers, supermarkets and restaurant chains. Developed and maximized the talents of direct reports, multiple interns and volunteers, to successfully feed record numbers of New Yorkers.

  As Associate Director of Retail Partnerships, I was responsible for shaping a new leadership position within City Harvest's Healthy Neighborhood Initiative. The novel program provided increased numbers of retail access points for residents to purchase quality, affordable fruits and vegetables in under-served communities. Efforts in building strategic partnerships resulted in co-founding the Healthy Food Retail Action Network - a city-wide network designed to support equal access and the economic sustainability of healthy and affordable food in New York City.
