  As a Certified Ophthalmology Assistant, I was responsible for pre-screenings for various visual conditions, including (but not limited to): strabismus, nystagmus, diplopia, convergence insufficiency, refractive errors, amblyopia, stereopsis, and glaucoma. I was additionally responsible for patient/parent education on insertion and care of contact lenses, as well as eye patching therapy for amblyopia. I also assisted with minor in-office surgical procedures.
