      Activities and Societies: Swiftwater Training and Evacuation procedures in a river and wilderness setting. I worked as a Trip Leader and Whitewater Raft Guide on the Ocoee, Nanthahala, Pigeon, French Broad, Nolichucky and Tuckaseegee rivers for a course of 10 years. I was the leader on these trips and had to make several life-saving decisions when a customer was hurt. I had to maintain order and company policy while tending to emergencies on Class 1 - 5 rapid rivers. Class 6 is the highest and not run commercially.       Received a passing grade in the NASCLA General Contractors exam. I will have my NC endorsement once the NCLBGC meets in January 2020 and will update accordingly.

      Safely Lead a crew of Raft Guides and their customers down Class 1-5 rapids. Maintain excellent customer relations. I received an Employee of the Year award from this company. I left because I wanted to work on the Chatooga River, and unfortunately they could not offer me this position due to them not being licensed to run that river.
