      -During this period we conducted two separate 7 month deployments into the United States European Command, United States Africa Command, and United States Central Command theaters to conduct crisis response and theater security cooperation missions. These deployments consisted of a MAGTF of 2200 Marines and Sailors embarked on three separate amphibious ships.-Coordinated with US Navy and DLA on supply chains from US to Europe to Africa to Middle East.-Coordinated with Department of State in support of future exercises and operations in 6 different countries.-Participated in two separate deployments aboard the USS Kearsarge and USS Bataan to Europe, Africa, and Middle East.-Developed the first logistics requirements for a embarked Marine Special Operations Company aboard amphibious deployment.-Coordinated with LOGCOM and HQMC on the fabrication and installation of armor kits for 190 HMMWV, 7-ton trucks, and LVSRs.-Deployed in direct support of multinational coalition forces for Operation Iraqi Freedom in Al Basra, Iraq.       -Served as the Inspector and Instructor for 2nd Beach and Terminal Operations Co, 4th Landing Support Battalion. This consisted of over 225 Marine USMC Reserves, Sailor, and 15 Active Duty staff. -During this period trained and mobilized 130 Marines for 5 separate deployments to OIF and OEF.-Coordinated with aviation units out of 2nd MAW and 4th MAW to conduct training on heliborne operations.-Developed a logistical partnership with the Director of Logistics, 3rd Infantry Division at Fort Stewart.-Developed a joint partnership with the Military Surface Deployment and Distribution Command for all maritime deployments.-Planned deployment and the logistical requirements for exercises in Morocco and Crete Greece. Provided observation and subject matter expertise during both exercises.-Planned the RSO&I and redeployment of Marine Corps Forces Reserve largest annual exercise in Hawthorne Nevada.-Conducted exercise support with 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit operational evaluation on the new USS San Antonio amphibious ship.       -Served as the Future Operations Planner for II Marine Expeditionary Forces. During this period deployed to Regional Command Southwest (RC SW) for 12 months to Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan.-Developed the basing strategy plan for 340 basing positions in Regional Command Southwest in Afghanistan as well as the subsequent base realignment and closure plan.-Developed a Multinational Coalition Worming Group to help manage and support 8 X different countries in logistics support valued at $120M.-Assisted in the deployment and development of the 2nd Georgian Infantry Battalion and Task Force 300A for the Jordanian Armed Forces to RC (SW).-Developed the operational plan for the Retrograde, Redeployment, ISO Reset and Reconstitution plan for all Marine forces out of RC(SW).-Supported the operational campaign in Afghanistan with logistics planning support for Marine forces operating in country for 12 + months.-Assisted in the development and training for I MEF Forward by assisting Joint Forces Command with the development of exercise scenarios for an mission rehearsal exercise.-Developed and coordinated the logistics capability packages for USMC disaster relief efforts for Hurricane Sandy in New York.-Planned and assisted in the concept development and deployment of the first ever land based Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force Crisis Response force in support of United States Africa.       -Assisted in the development of the Western Basing plan with United States Africa Command to include the planning basing locations in Ghana, Gabon, Liberia, and Senegal.-Developed a plan for long term infrastructure support for Moron Air Base in Spain, Naval Air Station Sigonella, Novo Selo Training Area, Bulgaria, and Milhail Kogalniceanu Air Base in Romania for Marines and sailors in support of forward deployed crisis response forces and theater security cooperation.-Planned and developed the logistics support for the Georgia Deployment Program International Security Assistance Force (GDP-ISAF) for Marines training Georgian forces supporting the war in Afghanistan.-Assisted in the logistics planning in support of Marine Forces afloat with the Marine Expeditionary Units.-Assisted in the logistics planning in support of the crisis in the Ukraine and Libya during the same year.-Spearheaded the re-design and refurbishment of a upgraded and modernized $25M Headquarters buildings.-Coordinated an AOR visit with the Assistant Deputy for Installations and Logistics, Deputy J4 Director of Logistics, and OSD on a visit to strategic logistics locations for the theater in support of operational plan.-Coordinated with United States Africa Command, Defense Logistics Agency, and Department of State on theater logistics support for Marine Security Forces deploying to the Central African Republic for a security mission.-Developed infrastructure basing requirements that were valued at over $220M in support of the European Reassurance Initiative.-Developed a Materiel Readiness Assessment Team to circulate through the theater to assess material readiness and procedures for deployed forces.       -Served as the Battalion Commanding Officer for 2d TSB. A General Support Logistics unit that provides Medium and Heavy Motor Transport lift as well as Air Delivery Logistics Support to II MEF.-Served as the commanding officer for a logistics organization of over 700 Marines and sailors.-Provided task organized detachments to support a multiple of deployments and training exercises augmenting other units to provide logistics support.-Recognized by the Commandant as the best motor transport of the unit of the year as well as nominated for the Secretary of Defense Maintenance Award for a medium sized unit.-Planned and organized the first ever Joint Precision Air Drop Systems in Camp Lejeune-Generated joint training opportunities with the US Army Airborne Division by sending Air Delivery Platoon Marines to conduct intensive cross level training in support of joint airborne operations.-Developed a first ever exercise involving combined exercise with US Navy, US Army, Marine Corps Reserve units in Camp Lejeune and Fort Bragg.-Planned and executed the first ever MLG amphibious exercise aboard and amphibious ship off the coast or NC.-Created a Battalion Unit Innovation Council in order to cultivate new ideas, concepts, and technology with current capabilities.-Purchased 3D printers in order to experiment with the additive manufacturing of repair parts.-Spearheaded intermodal training with various Marine Expeditionary Force units to conduct railhead operations by supporting a multiple of onloads of equipment in support of exercises being conducted in western USA.       -Assisted in the design and development of the Western Sustainment Network in the Middle East- Developed a Requirements Review Board in order to develop and prioritize infrastructure projects totally over $209M.-Synchronized the concepts of logistics support for all US components commands as well Great Britain, France, and Canada.-Spearheaded the multinational logistics planning to support the employment of operational capability in support of the defense of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.-Led the joint planning efforts for stockade positions for Munitions and Peacetime Wartime Reserve Materials and passive missile defense measures for all basing in the AOR.-Coordinated with the Joint Logistics Enterprise, Joint Staff J4, United States Central Command staff on Access, Agreements, Basing, and Overflight requirements.-Managed the operational plans for deterrence against a regional adversary.       -Led a mixed workforce of over 1500 people comprised of Marines, sailors, government employees and contractors.-Responsible for the management of equipment and supplies that are valued at over $4.5B.-Significantly improved oversight of the maintenance and supply production cycle in support of the program that helped to achieve a consistent 98.0 percent material readiness.-Proven safety compliance with the achievement of 2nd star for Volunteer Protection Program (OSHA)-Directed the internal audit of the Commanding Generals inspection requirements for both BICmd and Marine Corps Support Facility Blount Island. All areas resulted in mission capable findings for the first time in 14 years.-Supported prepositioning exercises in Europe, Middle East, Pacific while concurrently assisting in the development of the Global Positioning Network to expand the ashore prepositioning of equipment and supplies in various basing nodes around the world. This plan initiated our program to expand its first ashore site in 20 years.-Strategic procurement and contracting experience with contract oversight and execution / development of terms and conditions for Master Service Agreements and Master Terms Agreements totally over $229M.-Identified by the DOD and the Office on Inclusion and Equality as a “promising unit” for techniques and work culture.-Provided equipment and supplies in support of the Russian / Ukraine conflict with a presidential Drawdown of equipment consisting over transportation equipment and heavy ordnance.-Designed a new Dynamic Maritime Sustainment concept on how prepositioning and all maritime and air assets can better sustain forces within a contested logistics space.
