  I developed experiments testing a unifying theory for a solid-state mechanism that is capable of providing explanations for the multitude of reported pre-earthquake phenomena. This involved the detection of peroxy defects within rocks, pure ice and ice containing hydrogen peroxide. This has led to a publication in the Journal of Asian Earth Sciences, one of the leading international peer-reviewed journal in the field of the physics of earthquakes.

  The canton (state) of Valais mandated the HES- SO Valais / Wallis * to develop an Android app to promote hitchhiking in the canton. The goal was to have an app for hitchhikers where they would feel secure enough to favor hitchhiking in the Valais. In addition, the authorities wanted to use the license plate to lower the car taxes of drivers picking up hitchhikers.
