  In the continuing pursuit of unified communications, Microsoft Lync 2010 was brought under the group responsible for voice and video. Two of the foundations of Lync. the skills I developed working with Lync are being expanded further into the telephony realm with the Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CallManager) telephony suite.* Currently working on the migration of the production Lync 2010 deployment to Lync 2013. Target date for completion of August 1, 2013* Leading the integration of Microsoft Exchange 2010 Unified Communications Server as the voicemail platform for Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CallManager) and Lync. Show less * Designed and built Lync 2010 infrastructure utilizing existing OCS 2007 R2 hardware. Lync 2010 was a significant change from OCS 2007 R2 yet the migration was completed without a single call to the customer service center.* Active Participant in the Microsoft TAP/RDP program for Lync 2010* Designed and built OCS 2007 R2 infrastructure. Planned for and migrated all users and services from OCS 2007 to OCS2007 R2* Active participant in the Microsoft TAP/RDP program for OCS 2007 R2* Took responsibility for the rollout of OCS 2007. Deployed all services and setup federation with public providers as well as peer institutions. * Completely re-architected the UK Novell Netmail implementation during planning for the version 3.5 upgrade. Implemented all server roles following this new architecture* Re-wrote the Novell DirXML implementation for the new Novell Identity Manager. This implementation maintained account synchronization between two Novell eDirectory services and the campus Active Directory forest. Show less * Managed computing resources for the Department of Mining Engineering* Managed DEC VAXstation II GPX within a Local Area VAX Cluster clustered to a DEC VAX 8550. * Deployed Logicraft 386Ware PC appliance to work with PC software on DEC VT-220 terminals.* Deployed AT&T StarLAN PC network to share departmental resources within the department. This was not an internetwork solution.* Migrated from AT&T StarLAN to Novell NetWare 3.11 and worked with the College of Engineering to facilitate their move.* Developed and implemented plan to Migrate departmental and college NetWare resources to NetWare 4.0 and the new NetWare Directory Service (NDS) hierarchical based directory service from the old server based NetWare bindery..
