      GLYPH is a data collection web app (Game)built by the Max Planck Institute for the Science of Human History to explore the Shapes of characters/letters. In the initial stages, i had to start the application locally by using yarn dependencies. i also run a Nodejs server for the application using the Node Version Manager and Docker.• I designed a comprehensive Test plan for the complete Software development process in a GoogleSheet and later deployed the different components on the Testlink Platform.• I began with a black-box test and implemented different Test scenarios/Test cases to test the various units of the application.• I reported defects/bugs through Github by opening issues, giving a description of the issue, Steps to reproduce, a screenshot/screen recording of the issue and assigned different priority statuses to the defects discovered.•I assigned the appropriate delegate for a fix-Backend dev, Frontend dev , or the Product manager after i had debugged the issue a little bit.•After fixes, i run confirmation tests and regression test to ensure the bug had been duly resolved without striking other new bugs.• I also tested for the general responsiveness of the application on several browsers and devices and made recommendations that were implemented as alterations to GLYPHs User Interface and User Experience design.•I designed an actionable feedback form with both qualitative and quantitative questions for our Acceptance testing process.       I worked as a QA Manager at Smarty(Smarty is an automation tool for Motorcycle dealerships in the US), leading a team and collaborating with an assistant to ensure the smooth release of new features across different versions of the application. Our primary responsibility was to update QA items, such as User Stories and Assertions, for each new feature release. We meticulously ran quality assurance checks by testing the behavior of the listed User Stories and Assertions in relation to their respective features during a dedicated test phase for review requests.To streamline our QA process, we leveraged Notion to create databases and templates, which provided valuable structure and organization. This enabled us to effectively manage and track the progress of QA tasks. Additionally, we facilitated QA reviews based on specific criteria, such as "New features only," "high priority features only," or "all features on the application," depending on the requirements.Furthermore, I had the opportunity to contribute to other areas of the company, occasionally assisting with sales and digital marketing initiatives.
