  Physiotherapy Assistant/Lifestyle Assistant (=OTA) _ some of the main tasks:- assisting residents with the prescribed activities and care programs based on their needs, such as walks, balance exercises as in group and individual, massages, seated exercises, hot packs; - getting feedback from residents and communicating it to the Physiotherapist; working with records and information management in an electronic environment of both treatment plans and occupational activities; - planning, programming and evaluating occupational programs with the other OTA (such as crafts, games, bus trips, shopping; special events); - work with a multi-disciplinary team to implement meaningful lifestyle programs for residents;- ensure all equipment and facilities used in programs are safe and operate effectively:- participating in activities aimed at the continuous improvement of services;- undertake other duties as may be requested, such as patient feeding.Marist Lodge is an accredited 40 bed low care facility. The role is under the supervision of a Senior Occupational Therapist and a Senior Physiotherapist, and focus on providing a high quality care as well as activities and cooperating with a team of physio and occupationall therapy assistants, carers and nurses.
