  This solution based deployment involved working as small cross functional team in order to assist and provide stakeholders at Thames Water a proof of concept in the migration of pre-existing non Unity Catalog enabled Databricks workspaces, to Unity Catalog enabled workspaces, unlocking the powerful features UC provides. I spent my time on the bench upskilling in new technology, such as working through the 5 Snowflake hands on badges. as well as consolidating knowledge in previously used technology such as obtaining the Databricks Associate Data Engineer certification. I also spent time practicing and preparing for interviews. I was an Azure Data Engineer at Shell, within Customer Back Digital Transformation (CBDT)Using various Azure tools to build and maintain data pipelines, including Databricks, Data factory, Kafka and SSMS.
