      After my return from being an intern this was my first crack at the whip as a full-time tax staff accountant. I prepared individual, partnership, C-corp, and S-corp returns, as well as gained some phone time with clients following up on open items needed. It was a great experience in the trenches with partners and managers, all in a very well run practice of around 200 associates.       This was a great experience working within a managerial accounting function. Everyday I worked directly with the CEO, CFO, and Financial Controller in supporting key functions for an automotive company that does around $18-million gross per year. Having worked directly in Accounts Payable, Receivables, assisting in Bank Reconciliation(s) for Kimastle and affiliated companies - this was a great chance to hone skills I learned in my MSA Coursework. The highlight for me was teaming up with the Director of Purchasing to streamline the Purchasing & A/P function to roughly half the cost/time previous needed. I took a lot from my experience fortifying old accounting know-how, and was very pleased to have left the accounting/purchasing department at Kimastle better-off than it was when I arrived.
