      Apr 1991 - Jun 1998
      Squad leader

My primary job in the U. S. Army was 11C or Infantry Mortars. I had many opportunities to volunteer and do other jobs while not training or on deployment pertaining to my primary roll.I volunteered and worked as an on air personality for the Fort Drum Public Affairs Office (PAO). I pre-recorded a daily two hour show called Mid-Day Live for our on-post radio station. My association with the PAO and radio station lead to me working with the Armed Forces Network (AFN) while deployed to Mogadishu, Somalia. Then, later in Cap Hatien, Haiti. In Mogadishu, working with the staff at Fort Drum we hosted a six hour simulcast between Mogadishu and Fort Drum with a six second delay between stations. All of that was done using analog technology thru various relay stations that took coordination with multiple agencies. The show was carried live on various AFN affiliates around the world. The simulcast featured greetings from families at Fort Drum to the deployed soldiers in Somalia. An Air Check is available upon request Show less

      Delivery coordinator

I started in the propane industry with Holtzman Propane in 2001. I started out as a delivery driver and then in 2003 I became the Delivery Coordinator. In that roll I worked to transition over to computer routing and working with our computer programmers we re-designed out back office system to become more user friendly and to interface with our routing software.I oversaw the transition from manual Neptune Meters to using LC meters and started with using the LC RAM card system. Then, transitioned to using LC DMS system. Also, Holtzman Propane grew from 12 residential delivery trucks to 19 residential delivery trucks and two tandem commercial delivery trucks. The company grew from a single shift group of drivers to a double shift group of delivery drivers with a 1st and 2nd shift. Show less

    • Tiger fuel company

      Aug 2009 - Oct 2019

I started with Tiger Fuel Company in Charlottsville, Virginia. I first started digitizing our training records, updating our Certified Employee Training Records (CETEP) that is managed on line through the National Propane Gas Association (NPGA) web site, and putting together a training calendar with training certificates to meet the requirements of the Code of Federal Regulations 49 (CFR-49) that covers our industry. That winter I started learning the delivery areas by actually stepping back into the truck and working through and becoming familiar with the RAVEN handheld and putting together a delivery critique to help improve and streamline our delivery process. In the spring of 2010 I applied for and was accepted as the front desk telephone operator in our new Appomattox office. I then transitioned into doing our daily deposits and took over our back office financial record keeping and data entry. In 2011, we transitioned from an older back office software product called PAMS South to E-3 Energy. E-3 Energy is an all inclusive software package and resumed the roll I held at Holtzman Propane as Dispatcher / Delivery Coordinator. I moved away from the financial aspect of our store to overseeing delivery routing, service billing, maintaining our company owned propane tank storage inventory, and our minimum use or tank lease program.
