      Activities and Societies: Prefect duties I believe Amery Hill to be of a truly world-class standard; though my GCSE lessons and courses did not initiate until our year 10 terms, the first 3 years were something I would not change and really prepared me for the later exam periods, as well as consolidating a basic knowledge of our world. Sets of awarness days were collated amongst teaching and comprised of world event discussions, sexual/mental health, fitness, extremism, drug counseling, student finance and many more. It laid the foundations for further academia and a well-developed youth. The end of the year was rounded off with activities week where we might choose from a range of extracurriculars. Speaking of, the extracurriculars themselves where many and varied. The teachers were themselves the best asset and the only regret I have is not paying enough attention to take it all in. Show less

      Law Society Criminal Moot Candidate Cardiff University Law Society Nov 2023 Prepared moot bundles and arguments for both parties in a murder/manslaughter case focussed on the issue of causation, where a victim refused medical treatment for an injury suffered from assault. I represented the appellants as junior counsel where I submitted that the court should find in favour of the murder charge, and was awarded a score of 66/90.

The second moot problem regarded a claim that a vegetarian individual was discriminated against under the Equality Act 2010 when a potential employer vetoed a scheduled interview and catering skills demonstration.
