      As mud engineer , I am responsible of: Preparation and mixing of required drilling fluids and brine systems. Monitor the properties of the systems and make recommendations for treatments to maintain system properties within the specifications outlined in Company's programme. Perform daily pilot tests to determine appropriate treatments to the mud system. Provide a display of materials usage and cost. Current records of consumption cost and inventory maintained and reported on daily basis. Order materials as required to maintain adequate stocks on location. Maintain records of fluid additions and losses and account for discrepancies. Monitor performance of solids control equipment and maintain a complete materials balance. Ensure all necessary equipment is available and fully operational, and to verify the material inventory on rig site.* Supervising of the daily Rigs situation.* Preparation of End of interval report & detailed mud recap for each well completed (Detailed technical & financial analysis, Cost Tracking, problems encountered and solution, per day, per section….. ).* Preparation of Mud Programs & Solids Control Reports* Communicate daily rig situation to field representatives and Service Supervisors* Work closely with well site personnel to obtain optimum performance of SC equipments.* Provide proper supervision and training of well site personnel in regards to mud chemicals mixing and to the potential hazards involved.* Proactive involvement in operations activity that potential problems can be identified in Contractor's area of expertise and brought to the attention of the Company Well Site Supervisor, such that corrective action may be implemented in advance of problems materializing.
