  Contract role as finance and operations manager at the headquarters of the Rugby League Players Association, the professional organisation representing the best interests of players in the game of Rugby League. The RLPA also acts as an 'honest broker' between the NRL administration, the clubs and the player agents.The role involved day to day accounting,cash management and compliance to ensure the business was fully functional. It also entailed preparation of financial reports for board level purposes, including cash flow forecasts for a future perspective.From an operations perspective, I would liase with external parties and firms to facilitate the payment of royalties to players for the signing of memorabilia, including the Grand Final 2010 and NRL allstars signing sessions.Part of my role was also to update the RLPA website daily with news stories, feeds and information relating to all things Rugby League.
