Successfully lead analytics effort enabling a highly visible product to ramp into high-volume production; LNR: $600M. The effort resulted in a dramatic yield improvement from 15% to 98% in a matter of four months.Key ingredients to success:• Lead analytics effort of large cross-functional teams (design, systems, characterization, firmware) for product performance and yield improvement.• Clear and concise communication in the form statistical summary reports was used as the guiding principle for the success of the project.• Directed teams to develop new data flows from multiple platforms using visual data analysis tool (Spotfire) to understand large complex data sets. Data-driven effort and reporting was a key enabler to understanding new effects and trends and was instrumental in prioritizing and directing teams to solve specific issues in their domains for product improvement.• Directed the design of statistical data summary reports utilizing metrics and key performance indicators. Reports were used as top-level status reports for top management and strategic customers: included key performance issues, and predicted production yield issues based on statistical analyses. Reports guided the continuous improvement effort of the project Show less Technology platform management and execution in several process technologies and test chip management have been vital to the first-pass success of many wireless products; LNR: $1.5B.Key ingredients to success:Technology Platform Management:Created a new documented business flow of how large design communities across multiple business units efficiently communicate their needs to the technology development organization. Technical leadership, clear communication and relationship building with cross-functional teams were key components.Test Chip Management:Lead the dramatic improvement in the methodology/management of test chips at Texas Instruments by orchestrating a company-wide change, resulting in an annual savings of $2.5M+.Directed an innovative technical approach of integrating multiple designs and customer prototypes onto one test chip. Managed over 35 complex test chips over six years spanning three technology nodes.Communication and relationship building was key to orchestrating the dramatic improvement as attested by Texas Instruments' largest customer.
