  I oversaw the student-run newspaper with a staff of about 40 at my high school. I joined my sophomore year of high school as a staff reporter and then became Feature Editor my junior year before becoming Editor-in-Chief my senior year. My Co-Editor-in-Chief and I re-designed the layout of the newspaper and launched a new social media and online presence, driving up readership to record levels. Under our leadership the paper was awarded Most Outstanding Private School Newspaper by the American Scholastic Press Association for the first time in its history under my leadership. Show less

  As one of the youngest research assistants at the Berkley Center, I designed whatever the center needed from reports to event posters to infographics using Adobe Creative Cloud products. I was the sole student responsible for redesigning and modernizing the center's 2014-2015 annual report layout.

  As the sole student worker in the Journalism Program at Georgetown University, I was responsible for assisting the director of the program in maintaining communications with the more than 40 students minoring in journalism at Georgetown, as well as organizing program equipment and planning events. I also managed the program's Twitter account, achieving thousands of monthly tweet impressions.

  America is the only weekly Catholic magazine in the United States, catering to a circulation of approximately 45,000 readers. While working as one of America's two summer interns, I handled communication with book publishers for literary reviews and proofread content. I also Oversaw daily compilation of wire stories for the America website and moderated online comments. My work also allowed me to aid in the production of podcasts, videos and the weekly SiriusXM radio show America This Week.

  During my 10-week summer internship, I wrote long-form and breaking news stories for Bloomberg BNA’s International Trade Daily publication syndicated to a wide variety of subscription services, including the Bloomberg Terminal and Bloomberg Government. My work centered around reporting international trade proceedings from Capitol Hill and monitoring NAFTA re-negotiation developments.
