Starting as Clerical Assistant within the Personnel Department of this diverse SME provided me with a wonderful range of transferable skills, experience and knowledge. The role developed organically and as the organisation grew my focus shifted from the personnel function to supporting the Directors and senior management. This was formalised in 2008. I was lucky enough to be exposed to the full range of corporate functions and acquired sound commercial awareness, top-notch customer service skills and an appreciation of what makes great management and leadership.
