  I am an experienced Specialist Fertility Counsellor working with Irelands leading fertility clinics and reproductive specialists and privately in Co. Kildare & nationwide for the past 10 years. My specialist interest in Fertility and Infertility mental health has enabled me to provide effective, therapeutic counselling for my clients who seek help and support with IVF, RIVF, IUI, Egg Donation, Sperm Donation, Embryo Donation, Double Donation and with those who have experienced miscarriage.I have completed Perinatal Mental Health training through a national midwifery school alongside midwives and public health nurses. Having additional perinatal therapeutic knowledge and skills compliments my work as a Specialist Fertility Counsellor and enables me to provide emotional and mental health care throughout pre-conception, pregnancy and post pregnancy.I also provide supportive and educational consultations for families who have conceived with egg or sperm donation and who are now preparing to start telling their children the story of their genetic origins. I provide support for parents and psycho education in relation to best practice guidance when telling and supporting children in their understanding of their origins.The ability to provide specialist emotional support and effective therapeutic interventions to those seeking to create a family has always been a personal and professional desire for me. Through Fertility Counselling Care, I hope to connect with those who would benefit from specialist emotional support and provide coping strategies to help reduce the emotional stress of infertility, fertility treatment and miscarriage loss.At Fertility Counselling Care we welcome self-referrals, GP referrals, Consultant referrals and Clinic referrals for IVF counselling, RIVF, Egg & Sperm Donation counselling, Miscarriage counselling and Pregnancy / Postnatal counselling.   Specialist Fertility Counsellor & Perinatal Counsellor

  As the resident Fertility Counsellor for SIMS IVF I provide therapeutic counselling intervention and support for all patients undergoing Fertility Treatment. This includes IVF, Social Egg Freezing, ICSI, IMSI and the use of Donor Gametes. I also provide psycho-education and psycho-social implications counselling for all people considering or using donor eggs and donor sperm. I work with both individuals and couples.
