      Information Experience Design Summer School Interspecies Co-Design & Ecosystemic Home-Making

      This experiential short course is focused on co-habitation with other-than-humans in the context of home-making. The course brought together design colleagues from various institutions worldwide. Through interactive experiments and feedback loops with living systems, we explored integrating interactive digital networks with ecosystems. The course brought together design colleagues from various institutions worldwide. Through interactive experiments and feedback loops with living systems, we explored integrating interactive digital networks with ecosystems. The aim was to develop new perspectives and ways of perceiving our physical and mental home while welcoming non-human beings into our spaces. We examined the complexities of our anthropocentric lifestyles and considered challenges like vulnerability, boundaries, growth, and transformation. We also explored how digital technologies can facilitate ecological interdependencies and revive our connection with shared environments.
