  I started and set up the department of bariatric and metabolic surgery starting December 2012 and is now an accredited program of excellence. We have 2 dedicated surgeons a team of nutritionists, psychiatrist and counsellors apart from a solid intensive care back up. The hospital is a 650 bedded tertiary care center with all sub specialties in house with the latest of technology on board. The bariatric and metabolic surgery program is a part of the center of diabetes, obesity & endocrinology (center of excellence). We have all the latest infrastructure needed for a bariatric unit and we provide state of the art robotic bariatric surgery (only center to offer this in western India so far). Show less

This will be a state of the art mini-invasive suite for high end laparoscopy In gastrointestinal Surgery and soon to be introduced Robotic surgery access. This center also ensures an immaculate post operative care with a support group for anyone who has undergone a bariatric surgery.
