Working directly with FIFA to ensure their needs and demands were met throughout the tournament.Key Responsibilities and achievements:• Ensuring a world class experience for all athletes competing at the Millennium Stadium, as well as at the training ground and hotels, whilst competing in the Olympic football tournament in Cardiff.• Managing the activities and movements in and around the Field of Play at the Millennium Stadium.• Working closely with a number of Functional Areas, such as Sports Presentation, Media, Broadcast, Technology and Accreditation to ensure the delivery of a successful tournament for all involved.• Working in partnership with FIFA to ensure their high standards of a quality football tournament where met throughout.• Ensuring that the National Flags were presented correctly on the field of play, prior to kick off, along with the player escorts carrying out their duties to the highest possible standards.• Managing a team of 20 volunteers who supported the delivery of the football competition.
