  Supplemental Instructor and Writing Tutor

  As an SI: meet weekly with students to assist them. Meet with Instructor weekly to verify assignments or for special instructions. Prepare students for tests and quizzes in SI sessions. Responsible for setting times and booking rooms.As a writing Tutor: assist students of all levels to improve their writing skills and access their progress. This is usually one-on-one, but sometimes done in groups. Tutors answers questions and show students the resources available for them.

  Assist students with their difficulties writing papers assigned in their classes. This is students of all levels and diverse backgrounds including some ESL students. My primary responsibility is to assist students sucessfully navigate the General Psychology course and improve their study skills. I work together with the Instructor to help students better understand the material and answer questions about course assignments. I hold study sessions and test review groups.
