  Three year training program in Diagnostic Imaging, Radiology and Image Guided Intervention.Daily classes and meeting, with evaluating tests, are given daily during the first two years of training.Diagnostic imaging is subdivided in speciality groups, and residents. Resident is responsible for many daily activities of the radiology department of the hospital, always under supervision.First year of training:- Fluroscopy exams: 2 month rotation; interview, perform and interpreting all exams - Breast exams: 2 month rotation; read, report and indicate additional exams; performing breast stereotatic biopsies- Ultrasound exams: 2 month rotation, all non Doppler types of exams- Musculoskeletal exams: 1 month rotation, reporting all non emergency x-ray exams- Paediatrics exams: 1 month rotation, reporting all fluoroscopy, x-ray and ultrasound exams- Nuclear Medicine: 1 month rotation, discuss and conjoint reporting of nuclear exams- Chest exams: 1 month rotation, reporting all chest x-ray- Head and neck exams: 2 week rotation, reporting orbit, paranasal sinus and neck CT- Emergency exams: 1 month rotation, reporting all exams of the emergency room Second year of training:-Ultrasound exams: 3 month rotation; reporting all Doppler exams and bedside exams;- Breast exams: 1 month rotation, performing all breast ultrasound with mammography correlation, as well as ultrasound guided procedures;- Chest exams: 1 month rotation- Paediatrics exams: 1 month rotation- Abdomen exams: 1 month rotation- Musculoskeletal exams: 1 month rotation Show less
