Before being appointed as the Director of Service Learning, I served as the Program Coordinator, where I strengthened my skills in fundraising, program development, and evaluation. Here's a few of my accomplishments and responsibilites: • Developed and implement service learning programming for a public higher education institution by securing over $300,000 in gifts for program. • Directed all service learning and institutional community engagement activities.• Initiated a comprehensive process for developing an institutional culture of engagement and collaborated with faculty, staff and community members. • Prepared impact reports, evaluation and program reports for internal and external audiences.• Presented at numerous conferences and workshops including: on Asset mapping and building collaborative partnerships at the Gulf South Summit (2016), Engaging experiential and conventional learners at the Gulf South Summit (2015), and in Maintaining wellness and strategies for reflective practitioners at the University of New Orleans First Year Seminar teaching workshop (2016). • Supervised team of student workers and program consultant, serving as a coach and mentor.       As a Program Manager with the Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities, I honed my skills in curriculum development and project management. I lead trainings and manage site teams throughout the state as they deliver award-winning literacy programming. Here's a few of my responsibilites and accomplishments:• Build and Sustain partnerships between the Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities and stakeholders including: funders, schools, libraries, community centers, museums, and other community partners.• Support in the administration of a 30-year award-winning family literacy program by administering grants to support more than 120 literacy programs in Louisiana every year.• Develop curriculum and facilitate trainings for over 100 educators a year including supporting the development of three new book series and discussion guides and an online teacher training program.• Compose program evaluation reports and support in submitting applications for grants totaling more than $750,000 a year.• Manage 30 site teams implementing Prime Time literacy programming to ensure program fidelity and quality each year.
