      Activities and Societies: National Honor Society, Colorguard, and Seattle Cascades Drum and Bugle Corps. I was a member of National Honor Society, Colorguard, Choir, and Student Government. I was grateful for the opportunities afforded me during this time. I learned the value of service, teamwork, showmanship, and leadership.

      Activities and Societies: Graduate Student Government Studied a rocky mountain endemic, synthyris wyomingensis. First studied by Merriam Lewis of the Lewis and Clark expedition. I studied population level genetic information to ascertain geographic movement during the last glacial age.

      Activities and Societies: Tri Beta Honor Society, Tau Beta Sigma I studied Botany and was part of a botanical lab, the Bassham lab that studied plant cell genetics. I performed cell starvation and hardship experiments in multiple media and gained laboratory experience. I was also involved in the Iowa State University Cyclone Football Varsity Marching Band as a flag girl. I was lucky enough to attend 3 bowl games during my time there. I gained valuable life experience and dear friends.
