Furthermore we support the maintenance of our legacy products. The CoE focuses on the team skills, optimizes development processes and provides the best engineer tools. Furthermore we ensure great collaboration with our colleagues from other CoEs, product lines, sales, marketing and all other partners which are necessary to design innovative products. Empowering interdisciplinary teams is key. Show less The EMDD department was restructured and renamed to "Surgical Devices and Imaging Solutions (Green)". This comes with an increased scope which now includes addtional imaging components and holding systems. The new name also reflects our tight collaboration with our development colleagues at Karl Storz Imaging in California. They renamed their department to SDIS (Blue).Together we focus on introducing an agile mindset and corresponding methodologies. This allows us to address the new complexity of a digitized world.
