      Musician and visual artist

      I tour internationally to perform, record and lead workshops in English and Icelandic folk music, as one half of the duo FUNI with my wife, Icelandic composer and singer Bára Grímsdóttir. I tour as a solo singer / guitarist. I play and teach guitar. I also play and am currently researching the traditional Icelandic instruments, langspil and Íslensk fiðla.My visual arts work ranges from creating slide shows to accompany FUNI's performances to large scale community arts projects making murals and other public art works, to making and exhibiting studio based paintings.
