Job details included assisting in the development and implementation of the departments operations budget, long range capital and strategic planning. Student-Intern for the University of Massachusetts Athletic Department. Will help assist with developing and implementing marketing and communication plans for UMass Athletics sport programs. The internship will provide an excellent window into the profession of collegiate athletics administration. The internship also provides a unique opportunity to gain media relations experience on the forefront of a national brand. Was the Male Red Carpet host for the 2017 SAMY Awards at UMass Amherst. The Award show recognizes and honors the student athletes that participate for UMass Athletics. Will help with outreach and business development duties as assigned. Duties will include: Researching and identifying potential partnerships, reaching out to current partners and developing new opportunities, and helping to shape the marketing strategy of new program areas
