He is a singer, songwriter, guitarist, bassist & producer.Marco Divine’s Career Highlights:March 23rd 2014- Live Performance with ZAM Club Balattou in Montreal, QuebecAugust 2013- release of first solo CD:A blend of Haitian Pop and World Beat and Reggae music titled: “L’Universite du Compas-Marco Divine, featuring Patrick Apollon”. The cd also highlights the wonderful creole version of “Careless Whisper” (Mwen Pap Fe vagabon Anko) by George Michael & Andrew Ridgeley, and Marco’s love for his native land in “ Anbeli Ayiti”.The CD is available at www.cdbaby.com/marcodivine August 2011- The release of: “ Fel Pou Lanmou” ( Do it For Love). A collaborative work with brother Kevin Elie, featuring Marco Divine as a bona fide Jazz / blues guitarist, bassist, and arranger.March 1996- Performance at the Ritz Night Club in New York City, opening for Steel Pulse (The famous Reggae Band from Birmingham) fronted by David “Dread” Hinds.1996-2003- Performances in New York: The Bitter End (NYC), Kenny’s Castaways (NYC), The Baggot Inn(NYC), Mondo Perso (NYC), Opening act for Amateur night at the Apollo (Harlem, NY). The China Club (NYC), Summer Stage at Flushing Meadow Park, (Queens, NY)1981-1985-World Performances: With Gemini All Stars de Ti- Manno: In Martinique, Guadeloupe (Centre des Arts), Montreal (CEGEP De Maisonneuve), Miami, New York, Boston, France, and all over Haiti. Sang “ S’il faut mourir un jour” at Ti-Manno’s funeral in May1985 on Eastern Parkway.July 1981- The release of “L’argent” by Gemini All Stars de Ti- Manno, which introduced Marco Divine as a very young guitarist/singer in “ Hommage a Bob Marley”,show-casing songs like: “Coming in from the cold”, “One Love”, “ No Woman No Cry”, and the classic “Tenement Yard” by Jacob Miller.
