  Civil Engineering Intern

  • Developed and implemented the 20-year pavement management plan for the entire Park District trail system. Produced the final documents, a 20-year summary and a $15 million 5-year capital improvement plan, that was immediately approved by the Park Board to secure funding and start implementation in 2004.

  • Analyzed pavement conditions for the entire County roadway system. Assisted in developing consistency between pavement condition surveys and historical data in the County's pavement management plan. Gained in depth knowledge of the County roadway system and maintenance procedures.

  Principal - Traffic Studies, Transportation Planning, and Municipal Design

  During my 17-years at SRF I worked across multiple groups, including Traffic Studies, Transportation Planning, and Municipal Design. I managed the Traffic Studies group for several years, developing trusted relationships with both public and private partners, while also leading multiple municipal design efforts. More recently, I lead the Transportation Planning group focusing on multimodal transportation, school operations/safety, and corridor planning. I have developed strategic relationships working across the Midwest, including in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. These efforts have been located in smaller rural areas to dense urban communities, which provides a unique blend of lived experiences. This has allowed me to increase revenue and grow services across a diverse group of clients and geographic areas. Show less
