Master of science - ms in engineering mircroelectronics and semiconductors 3.85

I attended Purdue University remotely through 2023 towards a Master's Degree in Microelectronics and Semiconductor Engineering. I took two courses here in Solid-State Devices and Smart Manufacturing in the Process Industries, both of which were incredibly enriching. The credits I acrued here would end up being transfered and my Master's Degree finishing at a different university.

      Jan 2019 - Jun 2022

I began working as a Protein Vesicle Researcher in the Jang Lab in the Chemical Engineering department with UF in Summer 2021. My tasks involved multiple parts of the research process. I prepared protein vesicles via self-assembly and laboratory-scale separations equipment. This involved cell culturing, lysis/elution processes, systematic freezing/heating operations, autoclaving, and dialysis in the preparation of protein vesicles. I then worked with different protein-dye combinations by making use of the leucine-zipper properties between different polymers. From there, I analyzed the prepared vesicles at varying operating conditions, especially temperature, with both DLS and Zeiss epifluorescence microscope imaging. In addition to this hands-on work, I also attended weekly meetings to present and discuss different useful polymer research and experimental plans moving forward. I am very proud to have been a part of the Jang Lab and study protein vesicle formation thoroughly. عرض أقل I began to be a part of the Chemical Engineering Peer Advisor corps as early as I could apply. As a peer advisor, I primarily worked as a volunteer to advise chemical engineering students in an open office hour format. I primarily spoke with them concerning time-management and course scheduling, both of which I could relate to them having been a student myself. Additionally, I hosted seminars and presentations aimed to help chemical engineering students which range from career readiness to academic. For instance, I often held workshops which helped students to update their resume before the UF career showcase. Being a senior member at this point, I have stepped up to the role of treasurer. There, I managed $1000 in budget each semester which goes towards event and meeting planning, member uniforms and graduation equipment, and food. This required that I mediate between multiple groups of people, including faculty, students, and my fellow executive board members. The main way I add to the Chemical Engineering Peer Advisors is through providing a path forward into scheduling and budgeting in-person events again. Most events in between 2020 and 2021 were held online, so navigating the best way to re-integrate our members fell on my shoulders. I loved the ability to give back to the engineering community at UF which had helped me so much, and I was honored to be responsible for such an important role in the Chemical Engineering Advising system. عرض أقل The Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering provides first-year students with specialized instruction before going into their particular major’s advising office in their second year. As a Peer Advisor, I helped students with issues ranging from course-related difficulties to balancing one’s schedule amid stress. I am particularly knowledgeable concerning study abroad as it relates to engineering students at UF and the breadth of organizations and clubs which UF has to offer.Additionally, I hosted workshops targeted at current students and prospective students and their families, including “Welcome to Engineering!” and “Studying Abroad for Engineers”. عرض أقل

      Volleyball referee

RecSports at UF hosts a breadth of opportunities to get active and stay healthy for students at UF. Among these opportunities is the Sporting division, which hires referees and scorekeepers to allow for organized sports for students of all skill levels across 13 different sports seasonally. As a referee for two years, my schedule ranged from just a few hours to fully part-time during the indoor volleyball season, lasting for about two months each fall. In this position, I facilitated fair play and sportsmanship for the UF student body. This work required that I was proficient and comfortable communicating in an adaptive environment between officials, staff, and participants across each new game. I have been drilled concerning safety and am currently CPR-certified to show for it. عرض أقل

    • Hangtech llc

      Apr 2020 - Jul 2021
      Computer programmer

Over Summer 2020, I joined Hangtech LLC as a Pathology Programmer wherein I used Python and X code to automate large whole-slide images (WSI) of bladder cells into JPEG files such that they could be analyzed by machines. I automated the analyses using machine learning in order to measure irregularities in lymph nodes': sizes, shapes, amount, or distance between them. Irregularities could be reported to the user and detect bladder cancer sooner and more cheaply than with a pathologist alone. A pathologist was integral in the creation of this program. I did not work long enough with the company to see this company come to completion, although I was around for the image tiling and machine learning developments.I also involved myself on the business end of Hangtech while I was there. I compiled a detailed itinerary of project timelines for administrative journaling purposes. I also wrote and edited the company mission statement among other important identifying information in close working relations with Hangtech CEO Sean Hall.In Summer 2021, I continued resumed my internship with a new focus in research and design in maritime safety materials. I worked in designing a flotation device inlaid with LEDs for visibility which would automatically inflate upon contact with water and could be stored safely and easily. This device seeks to replace single-use flairs in emergencies. The clearest application of this project would be with the United States Coast Guard. عرض أقل

      Data analyst

I was responsible for technical operations in a team organized in the traditional scrum/agile framework. In this position, I integrated data and social platforms using Deluge coding techniques in order to automate our client company's marketing and internet into an organized channel. This was primarily moderated by bots which I also programmed. I was also able to expand my technical operations into design, where I implemented marketing and data collection materials to aid in representing client companies and helping them to collect data efficiently. These projects included designing business cards, websites, and surveys using Canva and WordPress. All of this work was done in the confines of a team; we reported daily on our progress and met synchronously weekly to reflect on agile scrum performance and project into the next cycle's renewed goals. This experience was a meaningful way to get more involved in data analysis and technical design which, although not directly-related to Chemical Engineering, added to my problem solving skills and understanding of different technical roles which are sure to exist in my future teams. عرض أقل

      Day shift engineer

I currently work as a Day Shift Engineer for the Intel Corporation in the Epitaxy Area. Here, I lead fleetwide planning meetings three times daily in addition to being the first point of escalation for any tools that break. I am involved with all faucets of my area's managings, including process control (using PCA, SPC, APC and other control and monitoring systems), process sensor and monitoring systems, fault response, preventative maintenance Gantt planning, automation systems, safety systems, people management, factory prioritization and hardware functionality. I have guided these systems to produce and ramp several nodes of semiconductor chip in strict adherence to Intel's priciples of Safety, Quality and Output in that order. عرض أقل
