  Primarily worked on cost-reduction of a mechanical seal product line via materials selection. Seal was intended for stern tube housing on large marine vessels. Cost reduction of 40% was achieved while maintaining a 10-year warranty. Also presented a plethora of suggestions for engineering drawing control to leverage the PDM system. Delivered an all-inclusive procedure that incorporated start-to-finish flow charts detailing how each department would interact with the system.
