      As an outside salesman I was required to cold call on new builders. I would create a complete material estimate for budget. This estimate would typically include lumber, trusses, windows, exterior trim and interior siding. I would set the selling price on the quote. At the presentation I would advise on any lead times and the proper usage of the materials in the quote. When the project was awarded I would work with the builder to ensure all of the material would be delivered accurately and on time to the job site. Show less My responsibilities included ordering the inventory for the stocking engineered lumber yards that existed within Hines Lumber. I established minimum inventory levels to optimize for price and lead time. I would coordinate split trucks within the company to allow smaller yards to get the benefit of a mill direct price level. I supervised and trained three ELP floor system designers. I implemented procedures to ensure estimate and layout continuity. I would prioritize the design schedule for size, importance and submittal date. I would solicit special project pricing for large dollar projects. The deployment team is the customer's primary contact for software from their initial demo through their secondary training. This includes the initial setup and customization of the software. I also work closely with our team in Vietnam customers so they can work smoothly using an outsource company.
