      Apr 2018 - Aug 2020
      Water sanitation & treatment

As a Water Sanitation & Treatment Specialist, I worked at the intersection of environmental safety, public health, and community education. My role involved monitoring the safety of the water supply through biological sampling, chemical testing, and data analysis—ensuring that water quality met regulatory standards and posed no harm to the public.I helped establish and implement field testing protocols, organized lab data for internal review, and contributed to reporting that shaped local decision-making. In addition to the technical aspects of the role, I also supported community engagement and public education, assisting in the development of outreach programs and delivering presentations to residents, neighborhood groups, and civic associations on water safety and environmental responsibility. This role expanded my understanding of how public systems impact community health, particularly in under-resourced areas. It also sharpened my ability to translate technical data into actionable information for non-expert audiences—a skill I’ve carried into all my communications and organizing work since. It deepened my belief that access to clean water isn’t just a service—it’s a justice issue, and that education and transparency are essential to building trust and safety in public infrastructure. • Feminist leaders for reproductive justice

      Sept 2019 - May 2021
      Co director

As Co-Director of Feminist Leaders for Reproductive Justice, I helped lead an organization focused on advancing reproductive justice through an intersectional lens—recognizing that access to reproductive healthcare is shaped by broader social, political, and economic conditions. In this role, I spearheaded local engagement and advocacy efforts, serving as a liaison between the organization and the broader community. I led communications strategy—including social media, outreach campaigns, and public messaging—and developed workshops, trainings, and political education sessions that invited participants to engage as organizers, thinkers, and change agents.A core part of my work was community building: recruiting, supporting, and activating new members around shared values and collective goals. I facilitated spaces for learning and strategy, supported leadership development, and helped create alignment across a diverse base of members and supporters. This role shaped my belief that organizing isn’t just about mobilizing—it’s about building power. It grounded me in reproductive justice as an organizing framework rooted in dignity, autonomy, and structural change, and it continues to inform how I approach movement work today—with clarity, care, and a commitment to collective liberation. Aug 2020 - Dec 2022
      Grant consultant

As a Grants Consultant, I supported the grantmaking strategy and decision-making process for a values-aligned philanthropic initiative—with a specific focus on the Momentum Giving Project, which prioritized movement-aligned, community-rooted giving.I worked closely with the Grantmaking Director and Grants Committee to evaluate funding proposals, refine criteria, and assess alignment with organizational priorities. This included participating in the review of applications, engaging in strategic discussions around funding priorities, and providing general oversight alongside board and staff leadership. In addition to funding decisions, I contributed to ongoing conversations around grantmaking processes and equity, helping to ensure that distribution practices were transparent, accountable, and responsive to the needs of marginalized communities. The work required both analytical thinking and a grounding in political values—recognizing that how we give matters just as much as who we fund. This experience deepened my understanding of resourcing movements with integrity, and affirmed my commitment to philanthropy that centers power-shifting, long-term relationship-building, and trust-based practices. • Women's march

      Sept 2020 - Apr 2022

At Women’s March, I led programmatic and operations support for national actions, virtual trainings, and organizing infrastructure that mobilized thousands across the U.S. I played a central role in coordinating large-scale digital events and backend systems—supporting everything from internal planning to live execution for hundreds of decentralized sister marches.I managed the behind-the-scenes logistics for major virtual programming, including facilitator prep, tech infrastructure, real-time accessibility support (captioning, interpretation, breakout design), and communications across field and organizing teams. I also helped manage national volunteer engagement systems, peer-to-peer texting platforms, and participant onboarding—ensuring each action was rooted in clarity, access, and political alignment.A key part of my work was building and documenting internal systems so that digital operations could scale across teams and timelines. I co-developed a cross-trained staff + volunteer tech team and created protocols that helped Women’s March consistently deliver accessible, responsive programming—often on tight timelines and at scale. This role sharpened my ability to move with urgency without losing intention. It deepened my belief that operations work is movement work, and that building powerful political spaces requires just as much care behind the scenes as it does in the streets. Show less

Climate + equity resilience hub manager

As the Climate + Equity Resilience Manager at USDN, I worked at the intersection of climate resilience and racial equity, supporting local governments and frontline communities to co-create more just, sustainable, and community-led approaches to climate adaptation.I co-led the national Resilience Hubs initiative, managing program development, logistics, implementation support, and the broader community of practice. My work included tracking project portfolios, maintaining internal infrastructure, synthesizing evaluations, and supporting resource development to influence the broader climate field.I served as a bridge between government practitioners and community-based leaders, helping shift power toward those most impacted. I helped design and facilitate virtual workshops and events, onboard partners, and hold spaces for reflection, learning, and innovation. I also contributed to public-facing content—including blog posts, guidance documents, and newsletters—to support knowledge sharing across the network. At the core of this role was a commitment to equity—not as a checklist, but as a structural practice. I worked to embed anti-racist, accessible, and community-centered approaches into every aspect of our resilience work. This included supporting funding pathways, policy tools, and practical implementation strategies that were rooted in lived experience and community leadership. Show less

    • A new hope consulting

      Sept 2022 - now
      Project management consultant

I lead large-scale, values-driven projects and campaigns for organizations working at the intersections of racial, disability, gender, climate, and reproductive justice. In this role, I serve as both strategist and project manager—guiding work from concept to execution while holding the relationships, timelines, and structures that make it possible. My work includes strategic planning, multi-stakeholder facilitation, narrative and campaign development, and convening design. I’ve supported clients in building out in-person gatherings, virtual programs, toolkits, and long-term communications strategies—adapting across formats and phases without losing clarity or momentum.A core part of what I do is build the infrastructure that sustains movement work: aligning collaborators, designing shared workflows, and keeping things moving in ways that are clear, equitable, and grounded in purpose. I approach every project with intention, flexibility, and care for both the outcomes and the people behind them. This work is deeply personal to me. I move with a commitment to justice and collective liberation, and I believe that how we work—how we build trust, hold space, and take care of the details—is itself political. Show less
