  Product manager at VRS Railway Industry, as successor of Vialis Railway Systems. Technically end responsible for several railway signalling and infrastructure products such as LED railway signals, point machines, level crossings, train detection equipment and interlocking cabinets.The signal portfolio includes main signals, speed indicators, warning indicators and several additional signals for main track and regional railways.Experience in developing of motor controllers for point machines and level crossings with AC and DC power supplies. The controllers must drive the barriers and beam under very hard conditions with a wide range of temperatures, wind loads.Design of old fashion relay cabinets but also moderns PLC based interlocking with Ethernet connections. Participates on modern EULYNX based communication protocols for object controllers in railway infrastructure. Software development in Delphi, C++ and PLC languages.I made a proof of concept prototype of a point machine with EULYNX object controller. This prototype has been presented at the InnoTrans fair in September 2018 in the booth of the EULYNX organisation which was supported by ProRail and Deutsche Bahn.In addition to my electrical knowledge, I now have a wide range of mechanical and optical knowledge to apply all these products in a railway environment with many demanding customers, tough conditions and a need to be extremely reliable.To get an approval on all these railway products knowledge all the safety assessment according the European CENELEC 50126, 50128 and 50129 standards have to be full filled. A lot of contact with subcontractors, notified bodies, independent test laboratories and independent safety assessors is necessary.
