      Researched and developed a national award-winning method of bio-medical imaging utilizing an optical coherence tomography system with a bar code scanner to penetrate up to 3 mm into a subject's skin. Awards for research included: Regional Finalist at the Siemens National Science Competition, 2nd place presenter at Department of Defense's National Junior Science and Humanities Symposium. Duties included: collecting and analyzing optical data, synthesizing results into a scientific paper, and finally delivering a scientific presentation on the results of the experiment to various groups.*All work done with Professor Ping Yu's laboratory group.
