      This project aims to improve postpartum care for Black individuals in California. Black birthing people in the US face a significantly higher risk of maternal mortality. To address this issue, the study involves in-depth interviews and design workshops to gather insights and data on their specific needs during the year following childbirth. The ultimate goal is to enhance post-birth care standards and provide recommendations from those who use these services.
