  Working in HUSLAB included working in different hospitals and health care centres in Helsinki and Espoo as a student and finally after graduating as a full time employee. I gained strong experience in phlebotomy and other clinical sample collection and analysis of clinical specimen in the departments of clinical chemistry, haematology, transfusion, virology and immunology.

  Technician trainee in Professor Yrjö Helariutta's research group on wood development. I finished my thesis for my bachelors degree based on the work I did on plant genetic research with Arabidopsis Thaliana.

  Technical Officer in departments of haematology and transfusion I carried out analysis of blood, CSF, urine, bone marrow, body fluid and malaria. Other duties included maintenance of laboratory analysers and providing training for the hospital staff on POC blood gas analysis.

Duties included operating and maintaining laboratory analysers, validating patient and QC results, testing microbiological samples such as urine and CSF and engaging in occupational health and safety matters as the departments OHS officer. As a shift worker I often work solo without any immediate support.

  QinetiQ Australia provides airborne bushfire reconnaissance to state governments fire services. My role as a GIS Analyst is to:• Interpret and analyse multispectral data and provide accurate georectified bushfire imagery to the clients within a strict timeline.• Provide technical support for the airborne staff during flight missions.• Multispectral sensor maintenance and fitting to airborne platforms.• I am also conducting employee survey data analysis summarising and discussing the results for the local leadership team with the aim to increase employee engagement and wellbeing.
