I attended BCM for my sophomore year of university where I majored in musical theater performance.At the end of the academic year, in May, I was selected with one other student following a nationwide audition seeking performers to perform at Opryland in Nashville, Tennessee. We were the only two students from the Boston area to make the cut. I was featured in Showboat on the Opryland stage.

Was on-board for the multi-million dollar rollout of Strongid C, the first anthelmintic (anti-parasitic) medication in a daily dose form.       I began my career with Vaughan Systems as an 'Anglo' participant in the famous Pueblo Ingles and Vaughantown English immersion programs for 24 week-long programs, eventually taking on the paid position as Master of Ceremonies for 5 additional programs.Taught EFL to corporate execs and staff as well as Effective Presentations for two student body groups in the Master in Professional English (MIP) program for Vaughan's initial entry into the adult ed EFL business. http://www.grupovaughan.com/masters-de-inglesCreated and hosted the popular interview show "On the Rise" on Vaughan Radio (www.grupovaughan.com) which aired, live, 3x's weekly, for 6 years.Created and hosted the 1st and 2nd seasons of the TV show "My Living Room" on Aprende Ingles TV which ran on the Spanish TV network from 2008-2012. Hosted 65 hour-long episodes (1st season) and 122 30-minute interview episodes (2nd season) in a joint project between Vaughan Systems and El Mundo. Also selected as the EL Specialist to work with the U.S. Embassy in Khartoum, Sudan to develop an English language radio program at Capital Radio 91.6FM in Khartoum Feb. '20. <br><br>English Language Fellowships are 10-month assignments focused on improving the capacity of English language teaching and learning at universities or other academic institutions supported by the U.S. Embassies worldwide.<br><br>Working directly with African teacher associations, the U.S. Embassy in Addis Ababa, and education professionals, I provided English language instruction, developed resources, and conducted evaluations. In 2019 I participated as a volunteer reviewer of 50 candidate applications for the Mandela Washington Fellowship sponsored by the U.S. Embassy in Addis Ababa.<br><br>In August '20 I completed the online 'Training of Trainers' course provided by the Office of English Language Programs at the U.S. Dept. of State.
