Hosted 65 hour-long episodes (1st season) and 122 30-minute interview episodes (2nd season) in a joint project between Vaughan Systems and El Mundo. Also selected as the EL Specialist to work with the U.S. Embassy in Khartoum, Sudan to develop an English language radio program at Capital Radio 91.6FM in Khartoum Feb. '20. <br><br>English Language Fellowships are 10-month assignments focused on improving the capacity of English language teaching and learning at universities or other academic institutions supported by the U.S. Embassies worldwide.<br><br>Working directly with African teacher associations, the U.S. Embassy in Addis Ababa, and education professionals, I provided English language instruction, developed resources, and conducted evaluations. In 2019 I participated as a volunteer reviewer of 50 candidate applications for the Mandela Washington Fellowship sponsored by the U.S. Embassy in Addis Ababa.<br><br>In August '20 I completed the online 'Training of Trainers' course provided by the Office of English Language Programs at the U.S. Dept. of State. I used the podcast platform Descript to edit and level the audio file voiceover scripts, and added music and sound effects to lend a professional quality to our shows which are currently airing on Mexican public radio channels.
