He has conducted site visits for rock mapping, topographic survey, identifying shear zones and weathering/erosion prone patches and recommended erosion control measures.   Mithresh has worked in various Middle East Projects majorly the Etihad rail 2B+C project in which he reviewed geotechnical surface & subsurface investigation reports and lab schedules as per project specifications. He has prepared geotechnical interpretative report and earthwork technical notes for sections along the rail alignment. He has designed isolated, raft and pile foundations for bridges, culverts, earthworks, MSE walls, retaining walls, utility protection slabs and excavation support with tangent piles. He has prepared ground model and derived geotechnical parameters using provided geotechnical in-situ and lab test data. He has calculated bearing capacity of foundation as per AREMA standards & Eurocode 7, settlement and vertical spring stiffness calculation of foundation using PDisp, Plaxis 2D/3D. He has coordinated with structural, earthworks, transportation, and utilities team and also provided design support during construction for contractors to mitigate construction and cost risks.He was involved in rock mapping and data collection for volcano mountain at Kodombl island. He has prepared site visit report and desk study report highlighting regional and site geology of the volcano mountain; topography study using DEM, slope gradient map and drainage map; and recommendation of feasible construction techniques Show less

  Mithresh has carried out pile design for bridges in Coffs Harbour Bypass project which is a 12 km bypass project to ease access within the Coffs Harbour in Australia. He has also worked as a design engineer in High Speed 2 (HS2) which is a planned high-speed railway in the United Kingdom, directly linking London, Birmingham, the East Midlands, Leeds and Manchester. He has performed CAT III checks for various geo structures and embankments in the project.He has worked for RSSOM project in Canada for the preparation of construction impact assessment report which included calculation of displacements due to construction of buildings embankments in PDisp and excavations, tunnels in XDisp. He has also carried out damage assessment calculations due to these construction activities on the existing buildings, rails and utilities and efficiently used python to automate repetitve tasks Show less
