  Project: Techno-Economic evaluation of reactor concepts for a Power to Gas process chain in Netherlands.• The focus of project was to investigate the feasibility of bio-methanization in terms of economy, energy efficiency and greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction. A technology description based on a mass balance was the basis and based on the technology selection the energy need was calculated• Overall different research activities are necessary in this project. These involve a combination of literature research, simulations, modelling and theoretical considerations as well as design. Most of the research was quantitative in nature. The final objective was the evaluation of the bio reactor and its linking to the biomethane chain which was already developed at Hanze University of Applied Science. • A biomethane chain model in excel was developed and a sensitivity analysis was performed. • LCA tools like Simapro will be used to evaluate environmental impact.Software used : Simapro LCA, MS-Office, Aspen Plus Show less
