      • GP Advertising/Generic Publications is the in house advertising agency for Harvey Norman, Domayne and Joyce Mayne. • I am responsible for all magazine advertising and oversee the whole production process and manage some advertising campaigns.• Being a coordinator involves organising all contact and meetings with clients and taking briefs for upcoming advertising, I work with a copywriter and graphic designer to produce ads, check and send proofs to clients and send advertising material and assets to different publications. I oversee every step in the production and proofing process of the ads and bring together all of the elements. My job also involves a lot of following up with internal and external parties to make sure that all of the ads meet deadline.• I supply our online team with content for the web component of our advertising campaigns. • I book in ads with a variety of different publications and also make schedules for all advertising. • I work closely with the marketing and promotions team and also assist them with any ad hoc requests, including organising signage, posters, tickets, invitations or promotional material for different events.• Part of my role is to also investigate any discrepancies in costing within our system and invoices. I also assist with costings and budgets. • I have also written documents that outline our advertising processes for training purposes. • I respond to any product requests from various publications for product images, product copy. I have to choose appropriate products to advertise depending on which publication they will be used in. I also have to co-ordinate products for photo shoots. • This role has given me the ability to meet multiple deadlines, prioritise, manage my time and work under pressure. • I also do some copy writing, copy checking , proof reading, and basic image resizing/editing as needed which requires me to use photoshop on a basic level.
