Show less - Conducted research resulting in the identification of a lack of social media presence which correlated with low numbers of graduate applicants. - Spearheaded the development of a research-based online presence for the department to better reach prospective and current students.- Consulted with graduate faculty to advise them on how they could improve their online courses using quantitative and qualitative research data.- One project I was assigned was improving navigation for graduate webpages. I created graphics depicting the various learning methods, allowing visitors to click an image to find the program offered through a particular delivery method. They remain on the website today and continue to help visitors have an easy time determining how their program of interest is delivered. This project was assigned to me by the Graduate Education Department after discussions regarding promoting the various delivery methods and the importance of emphasizing online learning and learning communities for those interested in graduate school who require or prefer non-traditional methods. I am tasked with getting to know as much about an individual as possible to aid in their defense and advocate for their needs to the best of my ability. Sentencing memorandums are written reports that discuss an individual's life, explain medical and mental health conditions, and often assist in making a case for an individual to receive an alternative sentence that can suit their needs more adequately than prisons, such as chemical dependency treatment, mental health care treatment, or a range of probationary sentence with conditions that will require an individual to remain law-abiding, sober, and/or possibly participate in educational programs for their specific needs and circumstances surrounding their offense(s).
