  Worked on a project based on a Peer-to-peer computing platform (CoDiP2P) developing modules, p2p applications and validating the platform capabilities. The development team was formed by 5 developers and one team leader. One of my responsibilities was specifying, designing and implementing the communications layer of the platform under the JXTA P2P open-source protocol.The objectives of the project and its final report required were delivered to strict time deadlines.A conference paper was presented afterwards in the Spanish Congress of Computer Science.   Worked on a project based on a Peer-to-peer computing platform (CoDiP2P) using the open-source JXTA P2P protocol. In charge of improving its reliability, creating new modules as were necessary, and testing improvements in a team of two developers.Among several things, I was in charge of designing an application repository which stored previously received and executed tasks and therefore avoided the need of resending them to the rest of the peers again.

  My work was focused on developing and extending a scripting language (syntax was based on Groovy) which generated OpenCL code and could be executed on GPUs. This language allowed non-professional developers (like Business Analysts) to harness a massive performance increase for certain financial computations (e.g. PFE), as they could write new deals on the go and price them. The translation process was implemented in Java and the generated code was OpenCL / C.Scrum methodology was followed consistently (daily scrum meetings, sprint planning with backlog refining, and sprint reviews with retrospective). I used a test driven development methodology with strict over 90% code coverage using technologies like JUnit and Mockito and taking care occasionally of the increases in the package entanglement. Code source standards taken care of with Maven checkstyle plugin and eclipse checkstyle code formatting.Google Guava and Google Guice Java libraries used extensively and occasional use of AngularJS and jQuery.
