  My duties includes: Ensure all safety regulations and procedures are followed- Ensure that service charts are kept up to date and all services are carried properly- Ensure that Mechanics attend to faults on plant or fleet as reported on daily cards by service crew- Ensure that service truck carry out their functions to company standards- Check that labor summaries are done on Monthly bases- Ensure that accidents are reported and noted on accident repair form- Check and ensure that failures are properly ascertained to avoid wrong costly repairs- Discuss with Site agents,clients and supervisors the performance of Mechanical support and address any related problems- Reading fault codes on MDU and carrying out downloads on various Machines- Carrying out log test and cut out test- Attending to breakdowns in the Mine or Site and in the workshop- Training operators and Drivers- Supervision of workshop staff- Compiling Monthly workshop reports and cost with workshop clerk- Carrying out repairs and Maintenance schedules as required - Attend and carrying out safety meetings- Carrying out plant inspections on Earthmoving Equipment- Tracing and diagnosing error codes on various Mchines Show less
