      Solid Organ Transplantation I work on the donor side of organ transplant. Travel to different hospitals in Illinois and NW Indiana and evaluate patients for potential for organ donation. Once eligible organ donor is identified and consent is given by family, my job is to evaluate different organ systems for transplant suitability, keep donor hemodynamically stable, locate suitable recipients via the national transplant list, and then schedule and coordinate surgical recovery of transplantable organs.
