Since January 1993, I have held various responsibilities at different times as a Program Analyst then an Information Technology Specialist for the minerals information function at the U.S. Bureau of Mines (USBM) transferring to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) when the USBM was abolished in February 1996. Current USGS minerals information responsibilities: Compose, renew, and maintain 7 Information Collections with the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) as the Team Information Collection Clearance Coordinator for the Paperwork Reduction Act (PRA). Design and maintain 140 mail-merge-and-print-enabled LAN-based minerals information dynamic PDF canvass forms using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) [XFA-based] Forms, JavaScript, and Adobe FormCalc. Converted old JetForm FormFlow-based forms to AEM Forms. As the Subject Matter Expert (SME), designed an Adobe Captivate PRA online course hosted on the TalentLMS Learning Management System. Former USGS minerals information responsibilities: Designed an international trade normalized SQL database to maintain materials flow information from source to ultimate disposition for over 100 mineral commodities. Designed and maintained the MIFORMS SQL Server minerals information Web-based system to collect response data from up to 18,000 respondents. Published a Minerals Information Canvass Forms Catalog. As the Program lead for Program Planning and Budget Development, served as administrative liaison to ensure that budgetary information for our $16 million annual budget transferred accurately to the USGS when the USBM was abolished. Assisted in the preparation of budgetary documents used for Congressional testimony. Participated in negotiating USBM closure costs. Composed Status of Funds reports. Show less
