The European Social Fund is a European Union scheme running multiple projects all over Europe with the intention of extending employment opportunities and develop a skilled and adaptable workforce. ‘Sensitize’ is such a project offering IT advice and systems development for small/medium-sized companies in U.K. reporting back to ESF.Projects included database systems for Letchworth Settlement, Colchester Travel; a database-based web site for Snape Maltings, as well as a Job Scheduler for Boddington’s, Dunmow. The Boddington’s, Letchworth and Colchester Travel systems were delivered in Access, while Snape Maltings was delivered in MS-SQL Server.   - Built and maintained the company's statistical package, which would generate various KPIs of the company, such like the performance of its employees, and most important the financial growth of both Zulutrade.com and AAFX.com. The system included a graphics engine that would display complex diagrams and cohorts in real time utilizing various in house designed caching mechanisms.- Built and maintained the company's CRM package. The CRM package included a mailer and a ticketing system that allowed the support to raise tickets to the developers, resolve them and then answer back to clients, monitoring response times, support and IT personnel performance.- Built an in-house real time charting system for displaying market prices for various instruments, with the ability of adding various technical indicators, such as RSI, MACD and MAs. This charting system was built as a .Net library that deployed a Javascript canvas application to query the trading server for prices using JSON to display them at the client. The technical indicators were also coded in JavaScript in house. No external/paid libraries were used. The system also utilized caching on both the Server and the Client parts.All systems were designed and developed in-house, utilizing both ASP.Net and Windows stand-alone multi-threaded applications.
