This role developed my ability to liaise well with clients and patrons, building a clear understanding of the customers' needs, to produce exact requirements when organising details for weddings and special events. My distinct and consistent, communicative style enables me to manage staff effectively. I think on my feet when challenging situations arise which has instilled a progressive level of confidence when decision-making. I was solely responsible for managing and supervising the staff working at the event alongside the incoming museum visitors, demonstrating that I am extremely proficient when keeping an overview to ensure smooth event management. When training new staff in key competencies, it is important to me to take time to listen to employees and encourage ideas, and always reward them for their hard work at the end of each day. I live and breathe perfection, and nothing less than the standard I have set is acceptable.
