  Sorinne helped create Start Soma (art gallery), with John Doffing in 2003 which evolved into Hotel des Arts. The initial purpose of this company was to make art affordable for young people, as well to create a platform to bring street and local art into the mainstream. In it's most current evolution it is an amazing on-demand wall graphics company for artists, designers, photographers, and brands from around the world. When the gallery first came into being, Sorinne was involved in sales, special events, marketing, PR, and fundraising for people such as Governor Gavin Newsom (before he was mayor of San Francisco) and actor Danny Glover. Since the gallery's new direction as a wall graphics company, she has worked off and on with John Doffing to bring in new clientele, collectors, artists, investors, and licensing partners. Show less

Slide hosted a variety of special events, local talent, and headliners including Moby and Benny Benassi for over a decade in the heart of San Francisco (Union Square). The beautiful underground space was utilized for public, private, and corporate events.

She completed Bentley, Lamborghini, & Lotus education, as well as how to be self-sufficient as a sales person. She was thoroughly groomed by the General Sales Manager, Vincent Golde, (consistently one of the top industry salespeople in the country) with the intention of replacing him when he retired.Sorinne started as Vincent's sales assistant, and very quickly moved into sales. In addition to sales she was responsible for online marketing, bringing in new clientele, and events (group drives, track days, and new car releases). She also brought in reputable partners for clients to access. She became successful quickly; receiving bonuses directly from manufacturers, in addition to commissions from the franchise dealer.   Sorinne was initially hired to do sales in the midst of much turnover, so her role quickly changed as staff left & was let go during a major reduction in force. She essentially became the face of the store; meeting with all clientele & prospects, educating them about the technology, showing them how Teslas operate, delivering Teslas, etc. When Sorinne was hired for sales (in the 2nd store in existence globally at the time), there were four people including her (a sales manager, assistant, and another sales person). After about 2 months in a sales role, she was the last one remaining & absorbed most, if not all, of the "missing" staff's duties... including handling some media & investor relations, as well as hosting regularly occurring "special" events. NOL may be carried forward 15 years under most circumstances.Corporations could earn sales tax credits on purchases of up to $20 million per year of qualified machinery & machinery parts; Up-front expensing of certain depreciable property.
